Michel - Artist portrait

Michel holds a background in visual arts, specializing in monumental art in 2016, followed by a degree in visual and audiovisual arts (BAK) in 2023, which he completed with two additional years of specialization by 2025. He is an independent, multidisciplinary artist who explores various media in his creative practice.

Drawings and Paintings

In his free time, Michel always makes space to express his imagination and creativity, initially through drawings and paintings. His work features a personal interpretation of themes from daily life, both figurative and abstract, also influenced by his own experience of contemporary art.

Visual and Sculptural Work

Originally trained as an architect, Michel transitioned after his studies in monumental arts to focus increasingly on sculptural and visual work. He works with materials such as wood, metal, and plaster. His artistic language emerges from the exploration of tension between contrasting materials, resulting in a unique style that sits at the intersection of sculpture and design—most notably using steel wire combined with nylon.
